does anyone else find laughing harder as you get older?

Can't remember the last time I laughed uncontrollably, like when you try to quit laughing but can't. Even things that I find funny, it's usually only a small chuckle. Anyone else like this?

That's totally normal. The older you get, the less new/exciting/humorous any given humor will generally seem. Combine that with people naturally getting more bitter and jaded over the years as they age, and it's pretty natural that people tend to be less easily amused the older they get.

Yeah I know this all too well. On a positive note I was with one of my college friends today and after a few drinks we were laughing uncontrollably while his gf sat there as she didn't understand our humor. Felt great man.

The last time I really laughed was around 3 years ago in a discord group call where we all watched a police chase.
