I was hit by a negligent driver crossing the street. I can never walk the same again and am in pain everyday. The only mistake this officer made was not finishing the driver off with a 'headshot' after shooting her.

I can't see how cops can be justified in shooting a driver in this circumstance, but not when felons are on a rampage in urban traffic. Like stolen car, robbed a bank, driving 100mph through red lights, smashing other vehicles.

If putting lives in danger justifies shooting, well this cop could have just stood aside, rolled off the hood whatever.

BTW I DO think in those car chase scenarios the crims should be taken out by firepower.

She wasn't shot for shoplifting, she was shot for attempting to run a policeman over. According to the Left her baby is not a human being with rights so the fact she was pregnant should be irrelevant to them. The policeman put himself in harms way to try and prevent her fleeing, hoping she would consider the circumstances and be deterred by his actions. The policeman was being 'anti-racist' in that he thought she were as reasonable as himself. She proved him wrong. And if policemen aren't meant to willingly put themselves in harms way then surely they'd become ineffective. Should they run from danger? Anyway, funny how Lefties have nothing to say about a pregnant Black woman putting herself in this situation. The White man is supposed to care more about her unborn than she. Despite him not knowing she was pregnant. Btw, if the Police aren't meant to try and enforce the law with people who are highly emotional (because it cannot be expected that they will act sensibly and therefore put their own lives at risk) then how are the Police meant to enforce the law?
