I don't think god will look favorably upon an able bodied man who makes his wife work while he copes on a gay indian bodybuilding forum.

I don't have anger, you're some poor loser on an internet forum. A lot of things are preferable, but also not how a man should act. It's not funny, or cool, it's sad. You're demeaning yourself when you brag about things that aren't accomplishments.

Are you willing to consider the you may not be the arbitrator of the "right thing" for everyone and in accepting that treat those you disagree with with respect and kindness. I'm going to say a quick prayer for you brother because I sense hurting.

BTW brother, my truck DOES have remote start...but to be honest with you -- I've maybe used it once or twice out of convenience in the last 1.5 years. That's just me though.

Cars, guns, watches, knives, good alcohol , and good cigars give me more satisfaction than any person ever has. I work hard because I like having things. Everyone is different.

How did you retire in your 20’s? You sell an app to google or is it just old daddy money?

Don't get me wrong, I certainly like stuff to the degree I probably take for granted having a safe/nice home, reliable vehicles, food in my belly and some modern luxuries, but beyond that...I'm not sure there's too much "stuff" I'd trade for all the time I'm able to spend with my family and be available to them...especially my parents/aunts as they age. I like nothing more than push mowing my parents yard, trimming bushes, edging, blowing, spraying for weeds...I like to sweat and for them to see me working as a display of my gratitude. Spent 8+ hours detailing their car last week.

My stomach does hurt. I eat with my eyes and end up eating too much, it's my one defect. Think about it like this, you have your opinion, and everyone else in this forum disagrees with your opinion. Maybe you're right, but I doubt it.

We spend the best of ourselves in the service of others. Loving parents do that for their children. Knowing that their children's worth is greater than their own. I used to spend every spare minute with my kids. Now that my kids are gone, I would have truly regretted it if I had spent my time chasing the dollar for stuff.

I don't remember a single time I made more money, but remember every minute of time I spent with my kids.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.

TBH, OP comes across as a trustafarian who did a few stints in rehab and his parents now tightly control how much money they give him so that he doesn't buy drugs.

We all have the same amount of free time here. So OP talking about how much free time he has doesn't make any sense. I haven't missed any family gatherings, birthdays, get togethers, holidays, etc. And I have a large family. Given that we all have the same amount of free time, why spend said time coping when you could be enjoying the finer things?

Tell me some "finer" things I need to pursue which would require me spending my free time pursuing money. I'll tell you if I think they are worth it or not.

And like I've said -- I'm not opposed to spending my free time working but at this point my requires are:

- 1 day per week
- 2-3 hour "shift"
- can disappear for 2-3 months with no notice/contact
- coworkers not allowed to speak to me first

If a "job" that lines up with my interests coincides with the above I'm all ears and open to considering it.
