My bday is coming up so I did a little treat myself session and made some office upgrades

Atlas headrest for Herman Miller embody, I pre ordered this like 8 months ago. Worth it, matches the chair almost flawlessly. You would never know it's not made by Herman Miller.

New mouse, Logitech gpro x superlight, with glass mouse skates, ultimate smoothness, very little resistance. Mouse feels like it's on an air hockey table kinda.

Also new elite series 2 controller I designed on the Microsoft website, simple Grey and gold theme

I also have a new microphone arm and dual monitor arm coming in the mail today, and an artisan mousepad I paid like 100 bucks for... Better be worth it lawl

You can be a big bully sometimes. But this is a based purchase. Solid af. The controller, the rest pictured is kind of lost on me…

Bluetooth speaker in the garage took a dump. Got this Soundcore X600 to replace it. Amazing sound.

Also grabbed the Peak Design 6L camera/carry bag. Not too big but not too small either.

"To cut it right.........mow with a Wright!"

I picked up this 48" Wright Stander X in Charlotte last week. Stander X's are 20% off now and the dealer knocked another $400 off. Planning on using it as my trim mower unless I like using it more than the sit-down mower. If so, I will use the 54" sit-down as my trim mower.

Just picked up the wife's car from getting a full detail.

claybar
2 stage correction/polish
decontamination wash
Gtechniq Exo Ultra Serum ceramic coating. Spent 24 hours in their clean room curing under UV lamps.

Full wheel removal clay, decontamination and carpro dlux wheel ceramic coating

F1 Stratos windshield and front windows tint
PPF headlights (We previously had an XC60 that got a rock chip on one of it headlights and was getting moisture inside. Replacement would have cost $3000 but thankfully the vehicle was totaled shortly after)

Bill came to right at $2000.

I talked to the guys at the shop who did the work as well as some online detailing forums and got the following for taking care of the car (as well as my new car I'm hopefully picking up next month and will also take to get this same new car detail job done)

I'd fallen out of the car care game so all I really had was some poverty cleaning stuff like meguiars carwash and the spray on tire shine from autozone LOL.

ReTyre tire cleaner
P&S Brake Buster wheel cleaner
Gtechniq W4 Citrus foam
Gtechniq W3 Ceramic wash
Gtechniq iron remover
Gyeon Wet Coat ceramic wet spray
Gtechniq T1 Tire Gel

Gyeon leather cleaner and Gyeon leather coat for the seats and other leather stuff

Koch Chemie polstar interior trim cleaner
Koch Chemie Topstar interior trim conditioner

Gyeon Glass cleaner

Carpro Wool wash mitt

ceramic coat is worth it. But its very easy to do....wipe it on, let it flash, wipe it off. Would never pay anyone to do it bc it takes zero elbow grease. Just need to make sure you apply is evenly. After doing my SUV myself, I would not not do it on any future cars. The lasting shine and ease of cleaning is GOAT. Granted my SUV is over 150k new. The trick is it seals all the work underneath in so paint needs to be perfect first...i.e thats where all the polish/paint correction elbow grease comes in.

Doesn't do jack chit for abrasion resistance. If I buy a car brandy new and it's 6 figgys....I'm taking it to get paint protection film before I even put 1 mile on it. Amazing to prevent scratches and stone chips

I would probably pay to have ceramic done. I don't have a garage or an indoor place and trying to ceramic outside in the elements can be a pain, car will have pollen on it within minutes. Even when I wash my car it's pretty much dusted by the time I clean up everything and go inside.

I mean 2k isn't absurd for a detail like that, but I wouldn't spent that unless it was like my baby, a car in taking pics of regularly and staring at every time I get out ya know.

But 2k ain't the same to everyone lol

Its basically fool proof. But yea I'd use a garage. I did mine outside with no issues.....you are essentially wiping it off 1 or 2 min after you put it on (it flashes that quick). Important part is to not drive it or let it rain on it until it cures (few days)

Claybar and polish is a car wash to you? Tell me you don't know paint and paint care without telling me you don't know paint and paint care.

He got some extras, but 2k is a little steep. I paid $750 without the extras.

So code worked for the 30% off?

So you grabbed one (m4) from other chat? The pistol grip? I have an owl I could throw on the pic rail. But I’d want an optic…maybe Aimpoint and there might not be enough room to fit all that. They also make a pic rail mount for the rein
