currently sitting at .10 bac

only gonna drink one if the reading is less than the last one (.09 before that 10:18 beer)

was chaining several together obv last few days

looks like BAC reading is the same as the prior one if one hour elapses from when i start one

gonna space by 1.5 hours and make sure reading is less before starting the next srs

Just think...OP made a similar thread like a month or so ago. If he would have weened off alcohol or went to detox, and stuck with it, he would be okay by now and living life sober feeling better. Yet here we are. Again.

Do we really think this time he is going to change? Not a chance.

OP you may be similar to me where you’re an extremist

If I drink I go big and get blackout and make some terrible choices

But if I’m an extremist about something that is at odds with drinking like working out I completely stop drinking for months at a time

You need to become an extremist about something that is at odds with drinking srs

I don’t know if politics is at odds with drinking.

People sometimes use alcohol as a social lubricant so they lose the inhibition necessary to share their political views.

You have to learn to COPE with the boredom and lack of that "high". It's, unfortunately, not just as simple as "find a hobby" to solve it long term.

That is very true.

You need to learn to be alone with your thoughts instead of chasing dopamine 24/7. Refreshing the misc counts as this, YouTube videos, social media etc.

I think stoicism is the way.

I wish you the best brah.

I’ve had my struggles with this. Not the withdrawal stuff but terrible decisions, anxiety, depression as a result of drinking.

Drinking is fun as fuk srs but I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

Have one of these instead. Get a big mason jar, lots of ice, pour half the drink in plus can of seltzer water, then top it off with a flavor squirt like MEO.

I used to drink 3-4 beers a night and switched to this. Been a game changer.

Sobriety aint so bad. I prob haven't had a drink in over 2 weeks, but I'm not really an alcoholic

Drinking or being sober, life is pain either way. Just gotta choose the lesser evil
