kindling is brutal alcoholcels

drank a lot friday and last night, withdrawal symptoms are brutal. extreme anxiety, was pumping gas earlier and had extreme anxiety, kept thinking the pump was gonna explode or something and that people were looking at me funny.

managed to get to the gym even pretty hungover so thats good. apparently the withdrawals get worse and worse every time, insane how when I was 20 I would only feel a bit groggy the next day after drinking. at 30 now its a different story, can't imagine 40..

Yeah its not worth it. When you think about it most of us would do it just out of boredom and depression. There are better ways.

I have almost zero panic attacks now that I’m sober, when I was drinking heavily it was a daily occurrence multiple times per day, even at night waking up to drink. Should have just blown my brains out if I was so goddamn determined to kill myself, why torture myself like that? Goddamn

Yea it was awful, and still pops up sometimes (but I’m only sober several months). Week 3 sober was terrible for me.

But the lows and highs all get better over time. I was getting panic attacks at work several days after drinking
