Yeah it can't ever be taken back. I think the folks who cheated once and never did again remember, but like some others said - the sociopath frequent cheater just "forgets" and feels better shortly thereafter.

If you cheat, it's best you just leave the relationship.

Really no excuse to cheat, just break up with your partner first.

The best litmus test really. I would want to know so I can decide myself what to do. I have a zero tolerance for cheating but, to be clear, I married someone who never cheated and has conservative values.

People change over time of course but I wonder why someone would cheat for the first time in his late 30s...and pay for it with some poverty trafficked soul. Disgusting.

Many guys I know in IB have hidden / parked assets. It is a feature of generational wealth.

We don't know any women as bitter as you, but she praises me in front of them for being the person I am.

Just because you peaked in high school doesn't mean that the remainder of your life should be the same childish popularity contest.

Not even here, where you clearly show your true character. "Black" - Pearl Jam, applies to your world even now.

Let it sink in.

Because the cheating itself should show that something is wrong, right?

Like this colleague of mine: hepaidfor a drunkenhandjob. What does it mean really? He wanted some sloot in a miniskirt to jack him off?

Like, don't most guys know by the time they are flying up in their career that they can just beat one out in the bathroom and be okay for a while? It's the best anti-cheating mechanism there is. Inb4 refractory periods being short - I get it, and this comment still applies, just with more frequency. And I'm talking where you're at work or out with colleagues, not at home with your woman kneeling between your legs begging for it lol.

Didnโ€™t think so, so just be quiet then.
The thing is that 'ignorance is bliss' only works for weak-minded individuals, like the one you quoted. Who here actually believes that they could be happy living in delusion? Well, I'm sure some do, and they can read this post again to let it sink in.

There's something serious about looking in your partner's eyes, and knowing that it's real. It's the most valuable emotion I know of on this planet - even more than parental love, or love for your children (which is different, but of course vitally important).

Delusion undermines the above, period. So delusion itself is a coping mechanism, as is 'ignorance is bliss'.

loled. Seriously though, I have one buddy that's good enough to be a hunting buddy (hunters will understand) and if I go out hunting without him and don't drop an invite, I feel a little guilty. Same with my dad and going fishing.
