Nike's Phil Knight is tired of liberal chit
He is now supporting Republican Christina Drazan because he's tired of the 40 year stranglehold the Dems have had on Oregon. Nike had to close down their iconic store in Portland because it kept getting robbed. LOL

I mean I appreciate the change but Knight was one of the biggest proponents of woke and liberal policies for years.
Also, did Biden really say this like it says in the story? Biden introduced Kotek to the crowd at a fundraiser saying she'had the lion of a heart'as he emphasized the huge stakes in play.
I mean wtf?

Interesting. The conservative part of Oregon is looking to leave Oregon and become a part of Idaho instead. They have had enough of Portland leftist politics also. Cant' blame them with all the problems Oregon now has.

This is from last year and probably the only chance the Rs had at winning. The 3 way race split a lot of votes and toward the end people realized it. The blue hairs in Portland were freaking out because Oregon's second coming of Hitler would mean that they would all be rounded up and put into camps.

And yes, it does matter it's from last year because OP tried to present this as current news. The race already happened and his candidate lost.

If I’ve learned anything just plopping someone in the executive slot won’t fix ANYTHING.
You’d have to replace every mid level liberal administrator in the state. It’s like a virus.

Nike has been supporting far left policy/activism for awhile now. Which is why I quit buying their products. Maybe its more on John Donahoe's head then Phils. But that's the game you play when you support far left policy.
As far as political parties these folks are snakes. They'll support a candidate from either political party as long as they agree with their back room deals.

I can point you to all of these currently happening with Dem policies. I mean, are you really arguing that the left's soft-on-crime approach is better than what?

Meanwhile, the last two Republican presidencies have been economic disasters. GWB ended his with the Great Recession and Trump is the only president in modern history to lose millions of jobs during his term.
But yeah, let’s worry about “no-go” zones. LMAO.
As for crime, crime rates are higher in red states. 😁
The murder rate in the 25 states that voted for Donald Trump has exceeded the murder rate in the 25 states that voted for Joe Biden in every year from 2000 to 2020.
Over this 21-year span, this Red State murder gap has steadily widened from a low of 9% more per capita red state murders in 2003 and 2004 to 44% more per capita red state murders in 2019, before settling back to 43% in 2020.
Altogether, the per capita Red State murder rate was 23% higher than the Blue State murder rate when all 21 years were combined.
If Blue State murder rates were as high as Red State murder rates, Biden-voting states would have suffered over 45,000 more murders between 2000 and 2020.
Even when murders in the largest cities in red states are removed, overall murder rates in Trump-voting states were 12% higher than Biden-voting states across this 21-year period and were higher in 18 of the 21 years observed.
