The CDC advisers are set to decide on whether to recommend that everyone ages 5 and older receive a dose of the updated shots - and signaled that they were leaning toward such a broad use.

In their presentation at the ongoing meeting, the advisers said they were supportive of a universal COVID-19 vaccine recommendation across age groups at this time.

All three vaccine manufacturers will also make presentations at the meeting of the CDC advisers.

Sometimes vaccine schedules aren't designed to include specific older individuals. Many, if not most, are designed around babies and children.

Shingles on the other hand usually crops up in people over 50 who had chickenpox.

Interesting, how come none of my relatives got shingles then? They all had chicken pox as a kid but no shingles.

Haha. My ex wife has Covid right now and my son and I didn’t get it. Had to pick him up after she tested positive. She’s boosted up the boy and I took the Moderna one, no boosters.

Is Moderna the actual effective one?
