That feeling when you look at your Ex gf or wife and know
That the pain is gone, the missing them is gone, the wanting them back is gone and you look at them and think to your self it's finally over and you find you can actually start thinking about other chics again.
This hit me today at court and what an amazing feeling it is.
All miscers know th gut wrenching feeling of heartache but when it's finally gone. You feel like your old normal self again
Best feeling in the world.

I legit never had any of those feelings. My ex-wife was psycho though and always thought I was looking at other chicks, or a simple exchange with another chick where she seemed too nice to me I was in the dog house. I was legit in fear if I was walking down the street with my Ex and a chick with big milkers with an outfit to show them off was passing by. I had to look at the ground, look at my phone, etc in order to make sure I wasn't accused of ****. I love the freedom of not having any drama in my life and not having to worry about a fight.
During the divorce my only thoughts that related to my ex were my fears of child being taken away and my finances. Once those were sorted out and I was put as the resident parent for my kid life became wonderful, I almost want to fap thinking about it.

Yep , been there... know the feels!!
But will say that as I have gotten older and broadened my perspective on life , relationships , etc. etc... That kind of "feeling" doesn't pack the same punch as it once did.

I’m going through this process right now. Really gave my all and everything in the last relationship, heart and soul. And it was just discarded for various reasons. But through it, I learned a lot of things about myself and what capacity I can love and give love.
I’m gonna start to try dating again. But I’m not looking forward to it. It’s taking a lot time and effort and I’m wondering if I really even want to date still.

I was head over heels in love with a girl all of 2022
She broke it off with me suddenly in early January
Been 9 months NC
Don't even want to look at a picture of her
Wouldn't say I'm fully out of the woods yet as far as the pain , but I've made some big progress compared to when I was flat out depressed for atleast a couple months
Gotta adjust to it , and take your time to process it.
I gave it my all for a full year , she randomly cut me off.
She still croses my mind , but not in such a painful at this point
Heart ache is a b*tch tho
Walking away from her was probably the hardest thing I've done in my life srs

I don't even know why I considered my ex-wife attractive anymore eight years later. She's completely not my physical type and now when she starts in with how she behaves I can just roll my eyes and walk away, which is a great feeling.

I really gave it all too. I could have done better in some areas but I've come to accept that I could have been perfect and she would have sabotaged and played games instead of thinking about building a home and a family for our son.
Now, I'm over it and she's stuck in a relationship with guy she never even wanted to be with and I'm sure is now settling.
Feels so good to be OVER it

Justice brings it's own reward. A clean reward a pure reward revenge brings nothing but a stain on you
What did she do?

When the love is there it makes life what it should be. I've always believed that if you TRULY love someone that you always love that someone. Thankfully for me I now know the truth about what I was feeling at that time..
Open up Holmes. Don't go through life like that.

If you just view that entire situation as fate and wrap your head around the fact that it was always going to happen just as it did , you'd be able to detach from it sooner.

Outside of that there are no feels left I finally know if what I was feeling was real or something else
But yes bro she owns nothing, at one time she did because I wanted her to but that's gone with the wind.

I experienced something similar to what OP is describing through my divorce process, but I can't pinpoint the exact time when it happened. I'm thinking it was probably around the time she got pregnant with her 2nd kid. She kinda always wanted multiple kids, but I got snipped to prevent it because I was basically raising 2 kids on my own (the actual kid, and her).

Most people do not even understand that concept.
And yes the Chinese have that saying "before setting out on revenge, first dig two graves"
Revenge for people these days is sick and selfish in nature because of some ill-conceived slight made against them.
It is better to forgive. Carrying anything else on your shoulders will only ware you down
I wish my ex nothing but the best and hope she finds happiness but outside of that this well has been drained dry.
Which is a good thing. There always comes a time where you must turn the page in your life and start a new chapter
I no longer feel old, I like my age and I love being a father. The last chapter of my life is dedicated to him and making sure he grows up happy and has the best life waiting for him when he grows up.
