Unpopular Opinion: Having another man shave your face is a homosexual act.

Lets be real here, fellas. Anytime a man touches you, and you experience a sense of physical pleasure, you're engaging in an act of homosexuality. That's it. I don't know how anyone can disagree with that. Massage, shave, handjob, butt-fingering...its all in the same category. Gay stuff. Just varying degrees of homoerotic foreplay. One minute you're getting your face rubbed, next minute...BAM!...hearty load up the bung. Slippery slope, boys. It really is.

Listen fellas, just shave your own face."Oh its so smooth! Rub a thumb down that cheek!"Yeah right. Get real. You'll be stubbly in an hour anyway. Just as stubbly as you would've been had you just shaven with a cheap Bic. So what even is the point? Guys go for the experience though, right? The experience of having another man rub & massage their stupid gay face with those strong, masculine hands. And I know some of you boys here have gone to get shaven and popped a chub under that smock. We'll just pretend like that doesn't happen though, huh? Crazy that dudes flex on it like its a status thing. Trying to prove they're some kind of big wig or something. Truth is, its just another gay thing. Another gay thing for the gayboys to do. Go shave each other's scrotums in the local bathhouse gayboys. I want no part of it.

No lie it's awkward to get a haircut from a dude. Just feel better with a female doing it. Getting a haircut with Elizabeth Saurday morning. They do the straight razor on the neck and all of that. Hnnnnnggg

Lots of men were raised by single moms and didn't have a dad to teach them to shave. So a barber has to do it.

Men for the most part are better barbers. There are very, very few good female barbers.

I would NEVER even let a man TOUCH me under ANY circumstance. Yall gay af. Letting another man's bare skin gently graze across your face as your dink swells and you instantly picture him spread eagle on your bed. I get an INSTANT half chub when another man touches my skin I can't believe you gayboys allow that to happen WOW

I've never gotten a shave before at a barber

but my hair is thicker, a straight razor will give me the closest shave, if you have money you can get this done 1x or 2x a week easily

shaving is a chore for me, as I pretty much have to do it everyday or other day. Having sensitive skin makes it worse

I've thought about starting to go to a barber to get it done, or a men's spa. This is a troll thread so idc

I've never gone to a barber for a shave.

It doesn't look like people get that close of a shave... the barber always goes WITH the grain.

I like to shave against the grain so my face is smooth

No troll thread, partner. I'd give an exception for haircuts; can be difficult to get the back looking good without the proper setup. But just getting your head shaved? Probably the easiest haircut ever. Very easy to do yourself. The only reason to pay someone else do do it is because you crave the physical intimacy. That firm touch.

The thing is, even the closest shave ever will be at the same level of a cheap, do-it-yourself shave within a few hours. Guys who're regularly dropping forty bucks just want to feel the touch of another man in a setting they feel doesn't threaten their status as a heterosexual.

Head shaved? I'm talking about my face beard/stubble.

I don't think I would get my head shaved, I could do that at home. But then again, I don't shave my head because I have hair, so I wouldn't know how cumbersome it is to do that frequently.

I thought you were talking about your head. Everyone's facial hair is thicker, partner. Except for Asians. Shave your own face, guy. What's really a chore is taking the time to go to a barber, then putting down hard earned money just to have someone do something that you could very easily do yourself for free. You can even learn to shave yourself with a straight razor. Plenty of tutorials online.

Uh, I think that's just you.

I have a heavier beard and because I've been going to them for so long they offer the trim/beard line-up for free

I feel sorry for the guys that have never experienced a shave with a straight edge Razor and steamed towel

time is also money, having someone do it for you can be relaxing and part of leisure. Jay Cutler gets his face shaved at a barber.

It's the same analogy as doing an oil change, it might take you the same amount of time, but you really want to get down to it when you have other things that need to be done?

By your logic having PT done by a Male is also homosexual. Nothing makes sense.

This,

Especially when it comes to the oil change. When you do your own oil you gotta:

-first go to the store to buy the gallon of oil

-pull out the ramps and mechanical creeper.

-roll yourself under the car and hope youre not about to play out a scene from Final Destination.

-fight finding the right socket or wrench for the bolt.

-then you inevitably spill oil all down your forearm when you finally get it loose.

-gotta replace the filter

then you have to deal with the disposal of the used oil

OR I can just drive up to a valvoline while I'm out running errands and have it done in 15minutes at the slight premium price which is worth it when you ultimately save time and don't have to deal with cleanup in your own driveway.

The only disclaimer is to make sure you go in the morning as soon as they open so they're fresh-faced and not exhausted (less prone to making a mistake).

If a male's touch brings you physical pleasure, you're engaging in a homosexual act, skipper.

I change my own oil in about ten minutes, partner. Depends on the car I suppose. Never been a problem for me. Pick up the oil & filter while I'm out; drop off the used oil at my own convenience. A lot of those oil change places are pretty scummy as well. Don't want them messing with my car unless its absolutely necessary. May be necessary for certain cars though.

How long is it taking you to shave your face? Seems like you're having a lot of struggles there, cowboy. You spending more than five minutes on a shave?

Had a 2010 Audi S4 for a few years it was intentionally engineered to be difficult to change the oil.

I have a heavier beard ("yeard") so it's super easy to shave for me but they offer the line up and trimming for free so I let them do it.

I think there is a big difference between some old man barber shaving you in the barber shop and some guy doing it in your bathroom.

Obviously one would be weirder than the other.
