Going to have to agree with OP here on this one. I mostly cut my own hair and always do my own shaving, but I did go to a barber once since my hair was getting long and I needed a new type of cut, and he offered to do the shave for free. I was like, 'ok, um, sure' and I dunno it did kind of feel not right.

1. Female chiropractors are worthless. They're not strong enough to adjust/realign to completion and their partial alignments due to their lack of strength can lead to exacerbated or even further down the road.

2. While they're not MDs, going to the chiropractor is deemed a medical procedure, hell most insurances cover for the visits. If that is gay then it's also gay if a doctor uses a tongue depressior to look in your throat or places a sphygmomanometer on your chest to hear your heart.


What you're doing is what me and my friends use to do back in middle school (call everything "gay") and we'd quickly interject with "no homo" after everything that may be perceived as "gay"

You're not understanding my argument, Maestro. As I said, going to a male chiropractor is fine if there's a legitimate medical need that can only be addressed by a chiropractor. Those who go for minor ailments, even if covered by insurance, are doing so because they crave a man's hand on their body, not to address a medical need. And its not gay for a doctor to use a tongue depressor or listen to your heart as neither of these acts would be physically pleasurable and are necessary for routine bodily inspection.

I'm not calling everything "gay," I'm simply pointing out what I believe to be a pretty well-defined line that the vast majority of male society has deemed perfectly acceptable to cross in this one instance. Most men won't get a back massage from another man, but they'll proudly advertise how great of a face massage their barber gives. Its absurd. It really is. I understand that this is an unpopular opinion, but logic is 100% on my side with this, Maestro.

i think you're talking about 2 different things here

having face shaved is nice , but there are more male barbers that do this than female barbers, so....

and if I go get a massage, I prefer a woman, and likely so there are more women masseuses than male.

Never gotten a shave from one but nah not homo (though who cares if it is).

I'm way more comfortable with a female masseuse but guaranteed there are some super secure alpha athletes out there who DGAF if their masseuse is male or female because they need it done properly and often to maintain their athletic performance.

Then it would be LESS convenient to do it yourself. What makes no sense is going out of your way to pay someone else to change your oil, or shave your face, or brush your teeth, or wipe your ass if its far more convenient to do it yourself. And unless your arms are somehow significantly impaired, that's precisely what you're doing when you go to a barber for a shave.

I believe I've made my point clear in this thread. I think I've addressed all counter-arguments in a very rational & sensible manner. Understand, the only reason anyone would feel that having another man shave their face was NOT a homosexual act is because its been deemed socially acceptable for hetero men to engage in that sort of behavior. The same way Scottish men wear skirts. If it were socially acceptable for two straight guys to stroke each other off, you'd also think I was crazy for claiming otherwise. Many men also view it as some sort of status symbol to have another guy shave them. Makes them feel high status. And for some folks, the perception of status is far more important than actual reality. You boys are completely free to keep going to get shaven down. Don't let me stop you. Just understand, every time you do it, you're one step closer to taking a hard one up the back-end.

Unless he's touching or shaving your balls and arse there's nothing gay about it. For it to be a sexual act there needs to be involvement of a sexual nature or parts such as the arse, balls, penis, or kissing. Also needs to be with the intention to create arousal.
