should i be concerned?

my wife is going on a 3 day work trip with her boss (she’s in marketing)


they’re a startup and to save money she and her boss are sharing a hotel room



i am not the jealous type but I’ve noticed he texts her late at night when we’re sleeping and she always responds


the sharing a room thing isn’t a big deal but I’m sort of annoyed that they got one king size bed. apparently that was the only room available. My friends are sort of teasing me about this - what would you do misc ?

If all that is true?

Far be it from me to project in this situation but none of that sounds right to me.
A 'startup' needing to be that frugal?
I don't know, but if it were me I would not be comfortable with it or approve it.
If it were my wife, I'd pay for the separate room myself to avoid any further concern.

Tough judgment call, I do hope it's nothing to be concerned with.

But....that's just my take.
