played the demo.not really into soulsborne games but this game is pretty damn close to a soulsborne game.probably the closest than any other game

Almost none of my pc exclusive bros fuk with gamepass. I usually have to remind them if something is free on gamepass to just sub for month.

I wouldn't have bothered stacking gamepass subs on sale if I didn't have the Xbox also.

Theres alot of pc elitists out there who would rather buy the game on steam for full price than try it via a cheaper gamepass sub and using Xbox launcher / creating an Xbox account.

But we do have xbox accounts because they're required for Halo or Forza.

Just lol if you don't force uninstall the xbox app.

Played an hour or so. Game is beautiful and sounds great.
Gameplay is pretty slow but pretty much mirrors From Software games.

I'm really struggling to nail the reach of the weapon, it feels like I'm only landing hits half the time. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Would be nice if I could adjust the camera so I wasn't directly behind the boy.

Also not sure how much of the lore I am going to understand. I only watched the Disney movie like 20+ years ago.
I get Gemini is Jiminy cricket, but he's a little robot kunt stuck in a cage. Maybe I'll read the book before playing.

Game seems pretty good though.

Bought it. Killed the first boss and got to the hub place. Seems like it has a lot of potential.

Video games journalism and the gamer community are just pretentious as hell these days in general. It's like they are still so desperate to be taken seriously, even all the games they praise need to be serious business lol.

Funny thing is, it's probably doing the scene a disservice. They keep pushing this hardcore bullchit that's made for sweaty nerds.

I am actually really enjoying the game so far. Gameplay is on par with souls games , the story is actually better imo as i can actually understand wtf is going on without having to look it up and watch an hour long video on it, and the atmosphere is fun and different.

Idk what it is but the more I play it, the less I like it. The combat feels like this weird combination of Bloodborne and Sekiro that needs some adjustments. You seem particularly fuked if you went with the slower, strength weapons. Not sure if I’m going to continue right now.
