Terrible year for PS5 and 2024 will be worse.

We all know Xbox is the more powerful console and the preferred console to play 3rd party games. Sony who prides themselves exclusives have a real problem this year going into next year.... They have no games LMFAO.

They finally got spiderman coming out soon after spending the whole year showing spiderman 2 trailers on every state of play but what about next year? Wolverine, Death Stranding, Silent Hill remake are not coming out next year. I guess PS5 owners can look forward to final fantasy, FOAMSTARS, and last of us factions because I'm sure that's coming out next year LMFAO.

Meanwhile, looking forward to playing:
Hellblade
Everwild
Forza
Fable
Avowed

And so much more next year.

Yeah the Sony State of Gay really didn't leave much to be desired. I guess there will be time to bust out the vacuum and suck some dust out of the PS5's holes and get it ready for 2025.

No wonder Starfield got the Sony ponies in such a huff. That's kind of sad. The reality is my PS5 gets more use as a Netflix machine than anything else. Doesn't look like that's going to change much (will play Spiderman 2 and FF7 whenever they finally come out) next year either.

Sony has had devs cooking for 3-4 years at this point, we will see more first party next year than the one game this year. For first party, Helldivers 2 starts out the year for them. And I actually think Death Stranding 2 is next year.

Lmao in a year with minimal exclusives (for me ff16 will be the best exclusive available for years) where all gamers got the best option where it didn’t really matter which platform you chose because all the multi platform games were the real bangers. You still have to bring out the salt.

My ps5 will get alot more use when that dolby atmos update goes live.

That being said its not like my Xbox gets much either. It's the console I use more because my Xbox account is older and more established. My psn account is noob af. Embarrassing to even be seen like that as a pro gaymer.

This entire console generation has been fukking boring. Ironically a lot of that is backwards compatibility based. Why buy a PS5 or Xbox Series whateverthefook when they just release them on both consoles? Feel like there's so much less games in general. The indie games took over, and they're really hit or miss, too.

SNES / Genesis
N64 / PS1 / Dreamcast
Gamecube / PS2 / Xbox

Those eras had so many more memorable games. Or maybe I'm just getting old?

Right now Sony is sitting on a few announced games with no release dates. With Xbox's all star lineup coming up next year and Nintendo finally dropping the Switch 2, PS5 needs to show something and not some cringe handheld gaming gimmick. Things are not looking good, I predict Sony will probably release som stupid "remake" nobody even asked for. INB4... $80!Last of Tranny 2 remake.
