Do laws protect blacks that use violence on someone saying the N word?

Does it? Should it? Is "hate speech" justification for physically attacking someone?

Like say a white dude calls a black guy a filthy jogger and the black guy knocks his teeth out with 3 or 4 punches. Would using the word jogger make any punishment (if there is any) less severe than if the white guy said "you filthy muddafooker"?

I've seen this too. Like blacks have this magic word which uniquely causes them a degree of hurt others can't possibly understand...thus allowing them to engage in justified violence.
