Yeah but then I ended up buying a TCL 5 series (upper midrange tv) and never went back.

$300 for those specs? I would say that's quite a steal.

But buying it on ******** marketplace? I don't know about that. I personally really don't like buying used as I'm unsure what its conditions are. There are some guides on youtube on how to buy used though if you want, go to PC Builder youtube channel.

If the PC is up and running there is a very small chance its going to fail once you get it home. most Pc components either work or they dont.

I wouldn't argue that

I'd still say, however, that if the OP can be sure that he can return it the seller in case it has any problems after testing it for gaming with AAA games for hours, then that's probably the only way I myself would take that deal.

not the best system, but for $300 there's not much room to argue. it's probably worth more to sell it piece by piece. the cpu + gpu alone are around $300-350. then you got the motherboard that's probably another 50-80, and ram that's another 25-40.

That's what I thought. Dude listed it for $900 and I offered $300 and he agreed. Gonna meet him tomorrow

Although I read it doesn't come with gaming ram. So I guess I have to do some minor upgrades including buying a 1 tb SSD.

You don't really need gaming ram. Any kind of ram will do the job as long as it's compatible with the motherboard, and you have enough of it.
