The numbers we have are 63% of young men are single, as many as 30% of young men dont have sex in any given year, 50% of new relationships start online which we know doesnt work for the vast majority of men. And soon 45% of women will be single which means at the very least the same number of men will be too.

This is the sort of stuff you'll hear said by gen-x'ers and millennials who have been married/in serious long-term relationships since before dating apps really took off in the mid-2010's. It does get frustrating hearing this sort of stuff out of people, but they almost can't help themselves. You have to understand that it comes from a place of ignorance (they just don't understand the times/modern dating landscape), and also a desire to reassure themselves of their own relationship/marriage situations (something most people are prone to doing on some level or another).

Having said all of that, I always pity people who think like that if and when they do find themselves broken up/divorced and single again. Because people who found their current bf/gf/spouse before 2015 would be in for some big surprises about the joys of modern dating if they suddenly found themselves having to wade through it all today, because dating is completely different these days.
