I don't go to 'popular' concerts, but if it was something once in a lifetime, I might. I LOVE music. I see live local music 2-4x month and go to bigger shows once every 3 months.

Most i ever paid for a concert was like 200 something and it was for the Anger Management Tour @ MSG. Also i mainly listen to Rap music and rappers are just terrible to see live. Yeah there's a few rappers like Busta Rhymes and Method man who put on a show.. but the majority just walk around and rap on stage with like 100 people randomly standing behind them

I just paid $440 to see Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol. Probably the most I've paid though.

always been mystified by how people can pay so much money to see these people sing songs that they can listen to in impeccable quality from the comfort of their home or car. no traffic, no crowds, no trying to see, no retards everywhere.

it's like fandom makes people feel special for being closer to the artist....breathing the same air....proving how big a fan they are..."I went to see Neil Diamond in concert"....well la di da mfer.

I pay that much for 3 day festivals full of half naked sloots and plenty of drugs

Those 6 hour concert tickets are a scam at those prices and shouldn't be worth more than 150 srs

Went to that one too I think, in Amsterdam. Don't think the prices were anywhere near that high.

Phucking Neil man. America's greatest singer songwriter. And it wasn't too many years later he had to retire.

Amazing show. Zero regrets

Yet another thing that has been ruined by clown world.

In college in the late 90s, being near Chicago, we went to concerts every weekend and never paid more than $40, usually under $20. Back then they had a handful of small venues where big bands would play. Even if a place was a bar, they just stamped hands for over 21, so I was going from 18 on. Even got to meet many of the bands afterwards, it was just that casual and fun. And NO cellphones and cameras were not allowed. So much better atmosphere that way. (Although if I had been able to take some pictures with bands that were big would be cool in hindsight).

I'd never pay that much to see anyone, let alone that dorky kid in a wheel chair from Degrassi.

I've always wanted to go to music festivals but singular concerts don't look worth it. Hopefully next year I'll go to Ultra

I paid Β£30 to see Interpol a few months back. Why are these tickets so expensive? I know Smashing Pumpkins are the headliners but are they worth $400?

Most I paid was like $100 to see Hale & Pace live on stage, that was fukin funny

Otherwise, I paid $5 back in 2003 to see Psycroptic play in a local function hall before they went on a tour of Europe and made it big in the extreme metal scene, that show was fukin sick
