Can't you just be an active parent and teach your kid or kids what you want them to know about gender sex and all topics related to this.
We talk about parenting and crime with bad kids, now teach you own kids about gender, sex, and whatever you see coming their way from the school, ie be a parent.

Yea certain states have gone full blown insane. You can't fail students anymore. I was talking to my friends gf yesterday who is a teacher and she said that if a kid has a tantrum, the whole class has to leave. Not the kid. They have behavioral specialists that roam the school for these situations. She said she told a student to do his hw since he said he didn't have it, and he refused. He said he doesn't have to do it, then the mom emails her saying that her son doesn't have to do anything if he doesn't want to. She can't fail him or give him a 0.

It took 10 years to destroy the entire public school system. The things she told me were so shocking that I don't know how there aren't riots at the schools every day.

Red state with liberal cities, this is doable. I think Opie attempted this idea, but in a blue state it's pointless since no matter how conservative surrounding suburbs and towns are, they are still under the thumb of state education board. Pretty sure OP is a financebrah or similar, which puts him in a hard spot since he's probably not gonna find similar pay/amenities in the middle of Iowa.

Went through a ton of time and effort to finally buy a home in a school district that has 10/10 top schools (nyc suburbs). Ensured I avoided any towns that were classically known to be more liberal to avoid clown world as much as possible (montclair, hastings, larchmont, scarsdale). Landed in a town with 10/10 schools with a more moderate political voting habit and seemingly conservative / classic americana vibe. Tons of kids sent off to ivy leagues each year. Great sports programs (lax, football, baseball). 23k in property taxes but felt it was worth it for top "private school" type schools.


-First day dropping off kids there are multiple gay couples dropping off kids (one in my kids class).

-Teacher sent home letter first week talking about the common core type math they will be teaching ("the homework your child brings home may not be something you are familiar seeing, but new research has shown this is a extraordinary method to teaching mathematic fundamentals").

-An 8 year old boy in the elementary school just transitioned to being a female. The teachers were very supportive "Yes thats fine you can be a girl!"They even had her parents come into the class to explain how their "son" is now a girl and this is totally normal. (Not making this up)

-state government passed a law that schools must keep confidential kids that are identifying as another gender and using different pronouns in class. multiple conservative leaning districts made their own policies saying schools must inform parents and THE STATE JUDICIARY BLOCKED THEM FROM DOING SO. literally illegal to tell parents kids are transitioning in class.....

-state law now dictates sex ed to be taught in first grade (about fluid gender identity etc)

This is a seemingly normal moderate area with tons of parents working wall street/big law jobs.....

Did I eff up boyos? private school around here is like 50k for non catholic options (cannot afford this for multiple kids). I hate catholicism(think the vatican is essentialy evil) so not sure I can stomach catholic schools (they are only like 15k tuition here).

Well since you work in the city, your list of commuter towns that aren't already globohomo are essentially Summit, Westfield, Milburn, Tenafly, Weehawken, Princeton or if you are dying for a super ****ty commute, Marlboro area. Which one is it so I can avoid it in the future.

When I was in school the number one go to insult was "you're gay" followed by "does your mom know your gay?" lol. We weren't indoctrinated into accepting this nonsense in ops post. The big battle in high school was whether or not teaching abstinence or safe sex was preferable. Today is way fukking different. Lol at thinking you can make a difference when children are at school more than they are at home. Brb come home at 6 and being told by your kid all your teachers are saying you're wrong, Billy is a girl and Juan is a dinosaur and that you're a racist.
