To be honest I don’t think I really knew what love was till I started having children. The love I have for my children is like nothing I have ever felt before. It doesn’t even come close to the love I feel for my wife, or other family members.

Before I had children I kinda had this FTW mentality, but now I want to see the world improve.

If we want society to improve we need to start looking at children as a blessing and not a curse.

Being in love with a woman causes you to be willing to take a lot of dumb risks and bets you'd have never taken in a million years without the (mostly empty) promises of free sex for life on tap being dangled in front of your face.

It also causes you to be willing to put up with a lot more bs during a relationship/marriage than you probably logically should. "But we're a team!", will be her mantra, right up until she decides she's bored with you and wants to leave you, at which point she'll do a full 180' on every stance on life values she ever claimed to have before that.

Lastly, after you've truly been "in love" a couple times or more and had that all shattered, you don't ever truly get back to feeling like that again. You can fall in love again and all that, but it's pretty much impossible for it to ever really be the same again after getting black pilled multiple times on it. Because deep down, you're all too aware that no matter how good anything ever seems to be going, it's all one of her mood swings going the wrong way away from going south.
