Newsom v DeSantis to debate 11/30

The two governors will debate in-person on Nov. 30 in Georgia, the network said Monday. Fox News anchor Sean Hannity will moderate, as the 90-minute-long show will air during the 9 p.m. ET time slot of his show, “Hannity.”

High risk / high reward for DeSantis. Every chance Newsom would clown him. From what I hear, DeSantis didn't do so well in one-on-one debates when he ran for governor. But with his campaign falling for months now, he has to take the chance.

Huge possibility for DeSantis. Instead of trying to get in the mud with Trump, or talk among a panel with others all saying similar things…he can contrast one of the best-run states with one of the worst. Some of the issues voters will get to see debated.

Cost of living - DeSantis wins

Avoiding lockdowns and mandates - DeSantis(added bonus he gets to point out how many democrats were visiting his states while leaving their constituents back home locked down)

Education - DeSantis

Supply chain issue navigation - DeSantis wins(added bonus he gets to remind people that he invited the ships off the coast of Cali. Waiting over a month to unload, to come to FL and quickly get unloaded)

If Shy Ronnie can actually whup Newsom in the debate instead of folding like he did with Crist, he will deserve a lot of credit.

Newsom is a serious threat in 2024. Dude is a slick operator. Doesn't matter how bad California is. Suburban white women would vote for him in droves. He could even beat Trump in 2024 IMO.

You seem a little lost. I've never claimed DeSantis would beat Trump. Granted, I did initially think he would give Trump more of a challenge than he did but he couldn't even pull off being a halfway competitive primary opponent. That's on Rick's lack of charisma and messaging. Dude is truly a rookie once he leaves the Florida border. At this point, he may want to leave the race before Florida runs their primary, he would probably be done for good nationally if he can't even win his home state.

First of all, Biden has to NOT RUN in 2024. And I am on record saying that he will not run and that Newsome will be the guy for the Dems.

This is why all of these polls between Biden and Trump are pointless.
