I think this is true on dating apps/social media. If you walk around in any major city in the US you'll see tons of averagish nonfat either no tattoos or small discrete tattood girls with a small social media presence (private accounts for friends and family/maybe 1 beach pic, 200ish followers, etc ..)

The caveat is these girls are usually taken.

Female obesity rate is like 40%. So immediately 40% of the population is off the table. Of course you'll see attractive women out there, there's 100 million plus women in the country. But it's a relatively small pot and every guy is competing for the small pot so as you said they're often taken. And even many of attractive ones without obnoxious tattoos and in good shape still have absurd body counts

Men don't really know how to approach and speak to women anymore. With women having higher education now and making more money, more and more men are intimidated to even approach a woman. So, they have to create threads like these to justify why they can't get women and use this as an outlet to deflect and place all the blame on women rather than take stock of themselves or face that harsh reality in the mirror. If you look at society and it's downturn, it's no surprise also downturn in religion. Not that I am religious, but it does add something. Also, odds are if u came from 2 parent household, and your dad was religious, you grew up to follow his footsteps versus a mom. When you replace religion with something else (self, superficial, social media) bad outcomes we see.

Just look at the dating app stats...If you are under 6' it's like a 90% auto pass to women. The only exception is wealth or power. So if a woman seeks out one of those exceptions for a quick hook up instead of long term, then like 20% of dudes who fall into those 2 categories have all the power...
