All my friends abandoned me (srs) NEED HELP & ADVICE
I’m 23, all my friends stopped talking to me a year ago cause they all got girlfriends (within the same social circle).
This all Happened over COVID Lockdowns and I haven’t heard from any of them since
I’ve tried make new friends but no luck.
Worst part is I thought we were all friends for life!
Please help! I want to have friends and live a normal life with people! Please help! Seriously want to meet normal friend.!

the most fun I've had in life is with none of them, no offense, because we all did have a lot of fun, but seriously the first is true, and that isn't saying they did anything wrong because a lot of us are still friends, I'm just saying the first is true

I have never had fun without my previous group. I thought we was boys for life.
They just stopped talking to me after they got girls.
I guess I’ll need to go out and find new boyz

I feel like the easiest way to make friends is to associate with people who have common interests.
The gym, clubs, volunteering, etc.
I always find myself making friends with the people who I share similar interests with literally as a result of that similar interest. It is not awkward because you don't have to do anything other than the thing you are there to do and the rest just happens naturally.
Concerning emotional coping, I would suggest to just feel it man. Think about the good times you had with them, re live them in your mind. Maybe even write them down in a journal. Think about what it was about them that made it enjoyable to you. Remember it and be nothing but grateful for it, and for them. Then, accept that it has passed, express any sadness or grief in an effective manner, alone or with a trusted supporter, and finally let it go. There is nothing else to be done about it. You have completed those tasks.
Give up on the idea of friends for life.
In fact, give up on the idea of life expectations in general. You cannot tell the future, trying to will only result in unnecessary emotional stress when reality does not align with your personal ambitions/intentions. Take care to foster the relationships you engage in, but if they are over, let them be over. Everything is temporary and you should accept that as a fact.
Your favorite job, personal relationships, shiny objects, social status, physical health, etc.
You will not have any of these things forever. Accept it now, or let it take you by surprise later. It really doesn't matter, this is all part of the human experience. There is no real right way to do it, but I would advocate certain perspectives can increase our standard of living if applied correctly.
You are in your prime for making friends man. The hardest thing you have to do is simply put yourself in situations to do it. The rest will take care of itself.
You should absolutely be okay being alone, and if you are not, take the time now to work on that.

PS: Don't eat poop, just don't let the idea of it stop you from living life to its fullest.

I volunteer and run my own tutoring center that I wouldn’t force friendship or anything upon due to myself being the the lead for this program. If I ruin it for others it means that little under privileged children would miss out on our service if I couldn’t run it.
In regard to my long time friends, yeah I guess I’ll just need to forget them, we had amazing turns till they got new girlfriends together and then they changed
