The Ethan Liming case might be the most RAGE-INDUCING sh!t I have ever seen.

Cliffs of case:

-Ethan Liming, 17, was driving around smoking weed with his friends
-They pull into a parking lot and start shooting awater bead blastergun at some dudes on a basketball court

THEY ARE LITERALLY MADE FOR KIDS. These probably wouldn't even do damage if one of the beads hit you in the eyeball.

-Dudes on basketball court chase after them
-At some point Ethan is attacked, 3 on 1, by a couple brother and their cousin (who are all 20 years old I think)
-They knock Ethan out. It's not 100% if Ethan died when hitting his head on the pavement after being knocked out, or when being stomped by the 3 adult men. However, they were stomping him while he laid defenseless on the ground.
-They then steal his car to prevent him from getting medical attention
-They were ultimately convicted ofmisdemeanor assault

This is absolutely one of the biggest injustices and failings of our justice system that I have EVER seen.

Isn't self defense supposed to end as soon as you're no longer in danger, i.e you can't chase after someone because at that point you become a vigilante?

All you have to do is imagine if the races were reversed. There would be BLM riots and they would get the book thrown at them.

The guys being shot at thought it was a real drive by shooting and reacted as such.
Then, with insane levels of adrenaline reacted with fight or flight war mode.
