Did they have to do the artificial hip because of vascular disruption?
Hip dislocations can cause damage to a ligament that supplies a blood vessel to the head of the femur, causing avascular necrosis.
A hip dislocation isn’t typically something you just just pop back into place. There would also be labral damage.
I guess any other ligamentous damage was repaired or will heal over time.
The amount of force required to dislocate the hip is quite remarkable. How did this occur? It’s usually the result of motor vehicle accidents or falls off buildings.
I’m tempted to neg due to lack of information presented in the OP. How hard is it to give information? Fukin answer questions goddamnit.

I've never seen someone so young have a hip replacement so I also have no idea if doing powerlifting movements on an artificial hip is recommended either lol. Wouldn't seem like it would...

I’ve had 4 hip operations and this was my 6th total dislocation. The other 5 dislocations were within a week of the surgery or the accident. One time I was able to get it back in myself.
This time I passed out from the pain of trying to get it back in and collapsed in the shower while my wife was on the phone with 911. One min I was standing trying to get it in, then I got dizzy, next thing I remember I was on the shower floor, with my head crooked to one side and wedged in the corner, with my wife screaming at 911 that she thought I died.

Out of 6 complete dislocations, I got it back in once. The 5th time.
Almost zero force except the original accident which I didn’t count as a dislocation.
First 5 happened laying in bed. This one I was in the shower and picked my foot up to wash my lower leg and foot.

Two cars doing 65+ mph hit head on. The other driver for whatever reason crossed the grass divider on RT 78. I was going west, in the westbound lane. He was going EAST in the WESTbound lane.
He died, I lived but got f-ed up.

They are low impact. High impact like running, tennis and such are one that really have to be avoided.
