Who remembers this spooky twilight zone rip off from the 80s

Wasn't so much a rip off but just the same type of show in most regards.

TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE.

between that and unsolved mysteris. The two spooky TV intros/instrumentals

Sounds maybe familiar but might be mistaking it for Tales from the Crypt, but Tales from the Crypt had bobs and Brad Pitt

Outer Limits was a good twilight zone kinda show

I remember "The Outer Limits".

Twilight Zone was the GOAT late night show though.

I remember all of those. Tales From the Crypt was probably my favorite out of the bunch. My first experience of “I have the weirdest boner right now” is when the chick was jumping the scarecrow….i didn’t know what a boner was but I know it was hot for some reason.

Tales From the Darkside movie was better than the Crypt movies though

Aware me on the scarecrow episode?

I loved Tales From the Darkside. I really really loved The Outler Limits from the mid to late 90's, though

Spoiler!
Hot young woman lives with crotchety old aunt and uncle on a farm. Gets lonely and makes friends with a scarecrow. Becomes more than friends with the scarecrow. Old perverted uncle sees this and gets the idea to get inside the scarecrow so he can bang her. Aunt comes out after a while and wants to convince niece that scarecrow is just scarecrow and that niece is crazy for playing make believe. Stabs scarecrow with pitchfork to prove her point. Results in perverted old uncle getting stabbed and dying.

I remember watching this show here and there when I was a kid. I remember seeing one that had Christian Slater….seeing him in Gleaming The Cube, my buddy and I were like “it’s the guy from Tales From the Darkside”

The intro and Robert Stack's voice to Unsolved Mysteries scared the living sh*t out of me. I remember one time as a kid like 9 or 10 with a babysitter we were watchingt the show one night, it was about a killer loose in New Haven and I was over in Newtown CT. Slept the entire night under my bed with a baseball bat in my hand.
