I have anxiety about approaching 30. I feel like I have not spent my youth the way I should have and the window to live the life I've always wanted to live is getting smaller and smaller. I need to make a change and I need to do it soon and commit to it, working towards it on a regular basis. There's a lot I want to do in life and often feel lost. My issue is I didn't accomplish enough that was cool, didn't spend enough time on cool hobbies, didn't go on any cool trips, was a poor****. Have especially kinda been in a rut the last 2 years as I moved back into my dads in my hometown to start a business but it has been tough and hasn't gotten to where I make a lot of money quite yet, and I'm not even really sure how to get to that point tbh. I don't get out the house enough and don't really meet girls anymore.

On the flip side my 20s were way better than my teens. Got out of being a timid and shy boy, pulled girls I would've thought were out of my league when I was younger, became confident in myself and blossomed into a man. Always found some decent advice and some laughs from this forum.

Anyone who can give me advice or maybe just talk to me a bit is appreciated.

I'm late 20's. I too came out of my shell and achieved a lot of milestones socially / romantically / physically, versus in my teens.

But I didn't do anything as risky as drop a career for my own business. And I am doing well financially, with some cool trips under my belt, albeit nothing too crazy though.

No need to be anxious unless you're balding IMO, and even then there's solutions to that too. Did 23, 20, or even 18 years old you hope that when they reached age 28 they'd be looking back constantly with regret and with pessimism/fear of the future? No way, they wanted late 20's Sp00kyboi to be excited and optimistic for the future.

As we age it can be hard to remain optimistic, especially after years of failures or problems. But you might as well stay blissfully deliriously naive and optimistic if possible, it's in your best interest anyway.

I’m 35 and just pulled the trigger on major life changes and am having to work extra hard now to make up for lost time. I recently quit a very good paying job that was making me miserable. I figure I’ll be around 37-38 by the time I can be where I want but at that age I’ll be firmly in oldcell territory.

Don’t wait. Figure out what you want and put together a plan to get it now. Put the plan into action and make the sacrifice.

??? 30s is literally the GOAT decade. Brb low inhibition. Brb high test and libido. Brb starting to actually enjoy life. Middle age is basically the starting campaign of your life. The previous years were the tutorial and practice runs.

All achieved in my 30's thus far. My test is higher now than it used to be. I worry less about almost everything. I go on more trips, i talk to people nicer, and ive become a better, more well rounded person overall. 30's and 40's are top tier as long as you take care of your health. Would never want to go back to being in my 20's very srs. I was lost, and would fuk any woman i could in my 20's... i also drank way too much. Choose to level up in your 30's bro its a wonderful life if you build it as such.

you can get a way with a lot in your 20s that in your 30s+ people will straight up look at you like you are a loser

you can still make it by 35 if you put in the grind.

if you did everything right in life from the age of 18. you could be retiring in your mid to late 30s and really just enjoying your hobbies and a family
