It's common for people to overvalue certain kinds of satisfactions that they've been deprived of during their developmental years. This is the basic formula for the incel. He has grown up watching others partake in the satisfactions of women and sex, and yet it continually evades him, thus you have the seeds of his "overvaluing" of women and sex.

That's the basic mechanism. It can actually take many other forms. Another common one is overvaluing money and wanting to be rich and so forth, which is often a result of a LACK of such things when one is young and developing.

I have no interest in that type of conventional family at all anymore.
