jones killed me too man i started him. i am just a 'start the studs' kinda guy and i refuse to get burned watching an established player put up 20 on my bench. i like jones and i'll just keep rolling him going forward. nothing you can do. sucks when it's on a thursday and you have to stare at it for days.

even if you told me detroit would jump out to a lead i would've wanted jones in there because he's got hands and they'd be throwing it more. live by the sword die by the sword sometimes.

on Gibbs - i have no idea what to do with that one. to be fair we knew montgomery was a damn solid back coming into the season. i guess you have to sit him if you have better flex options but it sucks when you remember what his ADP became.

one more thought on Gibbs actually. what kills me why would DET draft a kid like this with such a valuable pick, and then use him like any other scat back? why not go sign some cheap RB with decent hands like JD McKissic (or whoever)?

This is year one. Lots of rookies are eased in in their first year. It's not really an indictment on them in September of their rookie season. Let's see if the usage grows by the end of the year and into next year. If he doesn't have a bigger role by next season, I'll call it a waste of the pick. Of course, that's not going to help your fantasy teams this year, but just some IRL football perspective.

I drafted both Gibbs and Monty on the team where I have Gibbs, but of course, I started Gibbs last night. LOL. At least I have the option to pivot to Monty until/unless Gibbs starts getting more touches.

Used high waiver for Achane. More so to keep away from others since I’m in the #1 spot at the moment and my team is solid. Also mostert gets hurt fairly often.

Thing is I’m already Miami heavy with Tua/Hill stack. Think I should just keep on bench for now to see how it goes? I could flex him over Robinson jr (vs eagles) this week. Obviously not a good match up for Robinson but tbh he’s the clear #1 for Washington and I don’t really know what Miami is gonna do

I would probably play Achane over Robinson this week, although it's close because I think Robinson's floor is safer while Achane's ceiling is obviously through the roof.

i must say as i sit here staring at aaron jones and his <3 points it's tempting to sit mixon and start brother Achane. go for broke. probably won't because it's hard to deny 15 touches and the full time gig that comes with Mix.

Yeah, I'm moving Achane into my lineup in place of James Cook going forward. The number of touches still worries me, but he's explosive enough that he's going to break off long runs far more regularly than other backs.

Makes sense to start him if you've got a decent floor already. He provides a huge BOOM potential. He will absolutely put up some duds though so you need a good floor to even him out.

My RB's are trash outside of my 2 sure starters Walker III and K Williams. Walker on a bye, time to get streaming for RB's I guess.

Grabbed Patterson, he is finally healthy. Maybe Atl can start playing games with leads and get the Joker involved. Also grabbed Jaleel McLaughlin.

I have to play one of them. Thinking McLaughlin as he is the hot hand but I'm sure Javonte Williams will be back healthy so not sure he will see much action. Might need to flip a coin. Good news is the rest of my team is pretty stacked. I didn't need Walker last week, I already had the game wrapped up. Just hope the rest of my team can carry these guys.

I would play McLaughlin over Patterson, especially if Javonte is out.

If he's the one looking to unload Chase, just offer CD for Chase. No way I include Swift. Palmer isn't worth enough.

he has raheem mostert on the bench. maybe i push for him to secure the MIA backfield? mostert and chase for lamb and swift?

am i completely undervaluing swift? i might be. he's been a top 10 back this year even with the complete dud week 1

I worry about Swift given his injury history, but if you're going to sell high on him, sell high, not as a throw in. Swift is an RB1 talent if he stays on the field. Teams seem to be playing the Eagles by keeping 3 or 4 DBs deep to prevent AJB from beating them over the top, and the Eagles have exploited it by letting Swift run wild. It seems like that should keep up as long as Swift is healthy.

How much better is Chase than CD anyway? I get that now is the time to buy low on Chase, but CD was a top 5 WR ADP as well, and other than the lack of TDs, which is pretty unpredictable, he's been close to a WR1 so far (on pace for 97 rec & 1300 yards...). I don't think the second part of your deal should be that lopsided in his favor to swap CD for Chase.

Chase and Lamb feel kind of like a wash at this point. Even though Lamb's been disappointing for the cost, their defense isn't going to face cake matchups every week and they're going to have to score some points on offense. Outside of 3 games (NYG, CAR, and WAS) they don't really face bottom half offenses rest of season.

yeaaa i'm sticking with Lamb and declining the trade. my RB depth just took a hit with Khalil going down last night (of course as he was having a very good game)

i started the Washington defense too. i need to just avoid thursday night football.

Fields finally doing gods work. Thankfully Robinson had a few grabs in the second half. The guy I’m playing is projected at 140 before anyone even plays. He’s absolutely loaded but it’s hilarious he’s 1-3.

I hate when that happens. In my money league, I'm 1-3 with the 4th highest points. But DJ Moore just started my week with a 50 burger, so I hope I'm good for this week.

He’s only in the middle of the pack points wise somehow. I don’t think he’s actually played Achane yet. I’m #2 in points against by a few points but I’m also second lowest points for lol. Been a rough start to the year. Hoping Taylor does actually come back so I have a chance.

Can’t believe I am asking this but would you guys roll out JT this week, or take the wait and see approach and start Romeo Doubs?

Also, I’ll have to drop one player as soon as I pull him off IR, would you drop K Herbert, D Pierce, or Gabe Davis?
