Gene Hackman. The one bad

Azz actor who is generally overlooked.

Hard to find a movie he is in that is bad.

I heard an interview with Robert Duvall where he said Hackman was the best actor he had ever seen.

He has been forgotten by the masses but not by me I made a thread about him 2 years ago he is my favorite actor or in my top favorites.

Popeye Doyle in French Connection, also missippi burning.

One of the most natural charismatic actors I ever seen, also a former Marine he didn't get famous until late 30s.

"She recalls bumping into Gene Hackman while both were shooting movies in San Francisco in the 1970s and dining with him at their hotel." Then the paper quotes Leachman from the book:

" 'As we moved into the main course, it was as if a cosmic wind enveloped us. Some giant space magnet was pulling us together,"We didn't finish the meal. We went upstairs, flew into bed and made love. It was epic. And the next morning, Gene went back to his film and I went back to mine. I haven't seen Gene since that night, but I remember well the feisty lad he was.' "
