Srs question. Have any of you (chics included) ever loved

Someone but had to learn to live with the fact that you can never again tell them you love them and never again even let them know how you feel about them?

It's not a good feeling but one you come to finally accept.

I don't think so but I told one girl she deserved better than me and told her to find someone better and I mean't it.

I was crying like a bish throughout and then she started crying and then we made out and cried more.

When Itachi Uchiha was in the ANBU Black Ops..

his mission was to massacre the entire Uchiha clan.

But he couldn't kill his little brother Sasuke. He loved his little brother Sasuke so much.

After the 3rd Hokage was killed by Orochimaru, Itachi had to come back to the Leaf Village to check on Sasuke.

It was a secret mission and Itachi was still protecting the Leaf Village even though by killing the Uchiha Clan, he became a public enemy.

Here is Itachi coming back to the Leaf Village and making short work of Sasuke. Sasuke wanted revenge, but Itachi couldn't blow his cover.

Itachi was only 13 years old when he massacred the Uchiha Clan. Craziest secret mission ever. He was Chief of Anbu Black Ops when he was only 13.

Sounds like something a chick would say, so I'll prob be the only one to answer, but yeah

Been super into a guy for the last couple of years
Can't be with him, though
So I just play it off and act friendly just so I can still talk to him

Yeah. I just recently went through this.

But I made sure to not have any regrets when I had to finally walk away.

I let him no without any doubts how much I loved him, in the way I loved him with no holds, I let him know how far I would go/dedicated I was (moving, sticking by no matter what even while he worked out his things). I let him know I loved his flaws and weaknesses as much as his strengths and that I understood where he was in his head right now but that I didn’t hold it against him.

I let him know despite his choice to walk away, I still loved him, didn’t see him differently/hold it against him, and would have done anything to make it work. But what I can’t make work is when someone doesn’t want to be in the trenches with you doing the same thing and fighting the same fight.

He wanted to move on, I had to walk away and move on too. But again, I have no regrets because I know I truly gave it my all and he knows that as well. So despite loving someone whole heartedly, you really have to choose yourself in the end—let go so you can find someone who loves you the same way you loved.

Not embarrassed or ashamed to say yes to both. But there is nothing poetic about it.

Yes.

The girl I almost married when I was 22. Everything was good and then she talked to some aunt that I honestly think was jealous and decided she was too young to get married and she didn't just postpone a wedding but just ended the whole thing. Took me 5 years to get over it, srs. Beta I know but it really was like that. A few years ago she came into the picture again. We are friends now but I cannot connect with her like that because I know what she's capable of. I didn't even know about what her aunt told her until much later, and she even admits she threw something great away and she knows she will never find it again.

Then my more recent ex. Love her very much and I love her soul. It's just that she has issues (HPD) and i can't live with what she does. I really don't think she can help how she is but I can't deal with it either.

This is how you handle it if the other person is already in a relationship.

You don't be the temptress/tempter and announce your undying love. You be civil, cordial, accept what is, and move on.

This is how you handle a situation where you know the other is single. You let them know where you stand without any confusion, subtle hints, beating around the bush.

You freely give your love. Love is not earned or deserved by anyone. You pour out your love out like water, and they either drink from it, don't drink, or spit it back in your face. In any scenario, then you know how to proceed. They reciprocate that love, they ignore it and walk away, or they abuse you. At least you know where you both stand.

The biggest mistake, is not telling that person.

Real life advice... what hurts more than love not returned or love abused is REGRET. Regret of wondering what if, what could have been. Not making the move to put your heart out there is the biggest regret you'll ever have to live with for a long long time. Regret doesn't allow you to move forward sometimes.

Eggsinbasket did the right thing. Regret isn't part of that story. Moving on and forward is.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.

Telling a woman you love her is not important at all. Actually being with her and loving her is what matters. You are self-sabotaging if you really really want to tell a girl you love her.
