From what I gather he's actually a pretty cool dude.

He's not a degenerate like the other hollywood clowns always wrapped up in drama. He acts for the money and mostly lives a pretty quiet life outside of that.

Came in expecting someone like Sam Worthington, someone who did one big film and was expected to be the next big star but fizzled into nothing.

Fun fact: When The Terminator was set to be released, James Cameron (and everyone else behind the scenes) expected that Michael Beihn would be propelled to stardom and success, but instead it was Arnold.

Funnily enough every time I watch The Terminator I also wonder why the fuk Michael Beihn did not have a more successful film career. He puts in a better performance than Arnold IMO.

I think he fell victim to the Harrison Ford/Mark Hamil dynamic. Up until the past 6 or 7 years (and fueled by nostalgia) Hamil was a nobody only doing voice over roles for cartoon characters whereas Harrison Ford went on to make multiples block buster movies.

Thing is tho, I can see why Mark Hamill did not achieve the same success as Ford. But just go watch The Terminator again and notice how fukin’ good Beihn’s performance is. Not only that, he’s alpha as fuk and pretty good looking.

I’ve watched The Terminator a fuk ton of times and Beihn carries that film more than Arnold, IMO.

I think that might be Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I'm not sure. Easy name for me to remember though as i have a relative with the name Gordon.

Not Levitt, but saw this article on how Jessica Lange is upset with how Hollywood has changed for the worse. She is thinking of retiring.
