Yeah it’s really well done. And it’s just a short scene in the movie.

It almost traumatizes the audience. It’s so violent and unexpected and there’s no buildup of tension. It’s just jaw-dropping and feels VERY realistic.

One second you’re just chilling with this dude and then the plane is instantly transported to Hell.


Again it’s sad that Zemeckis became so enamored with producing uncanny valley CGI garbage.
