Ever looked forward to a video game launch for a long time only when you finally

Bought it and played it you were left totally disappointed?

I looked forward to Shenmue on DC for over a year and when it finally launched I thought it was garbage.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was a let down to say the least. I even got it brand new for 30 dollars and still felt ripped off.

I have cared about exactly one video game launch where I went and bought it at midnight and all the works, and that was for Madden 2009. That was more about the concept of it in general and going with a buddy from the time than it was about the game itself. Haven't cared about any game releases since.

Halo 2 at midnight was awesome. That one wasn't a letdown. Neither was Halo 3.
I was looking forward to Starfield and Armored Core, but I haven't played either of them.

what?that game was revolutionary.there was never a game like it.i loved it when it came out.the third one was a dissapointing flop though.glad i didnt pay much for it

Was looking forward to that ever since there were rumors that it was in development. Tried very hard to like it but it was nothing like D2 that I grew up loving.
