Cenk Uyghur officially announces he's running for President

Cenk Uyghur, the obese host and founder of The Young Turks, has just announced that he's running for President.


He's making the case that the Supreme Court has never officially ruled on the definition of "Natural Born" and that Naturalized Citizens should be eligible to be President.


His goal is to start a conversation regarding Naturalized Citizens. If he succeeds, then in theory, Zelenky can be naturalized and qualify to run for President. Or Trudeau can become naturalized and be eligible to be president.

NO person physically born outside US territory should be allowed to be President. US Territory = States, Embassies, military bases....


A person born to American parent, but on foreign soil like Ted Cruz, should NOT allowed to be President. Either you're born on US soil or you're not eligible.

Lmao. He’s not eligible to be president. Honestly I don’t even think Ted Cruz or John McCain were eligible. My interpretation of “natural born” is born on American soil, not to U.S. citizen parents abroad as is sometimes said, but it seems the country is moving away from a strict interpretation of the constitution and honestly wouldn’t be surprised if someone like Cenk is elected someday.

I've met and talked to plenty of Americans, I know plenty. I don't think wanting a Mexican born to two illegals on US soil to be eligible for president is a very common opinion.

This turd attempts to use case law to rationalize why he should be eligible to be Prez. This is dangerous, now foreign actors will attempt to do the same.
