You can't expect people who live across the world from you to know anything that's going on. That's why you have to invest in forms of good marketing. The Israelis have been working on their marketing for years and it's paid off because they can literally bomb civilians and make it seem like they are the good gheys.

I don't see a "who the hell knows" option since it's nuanced. I've simply wanted the US to stop being world police ever since I was of legal voting age. I do feel bad for Palestinians since Hamas puts them in harm's way. BRB, putting terrorist organization HQ in the basement of a hospital. Israel sends people of Gaza a message to GTFO because they're coming in with no lube, Hamas tells the people of Gaza to stay because they want more random Palestinians killed for sympathy.

I support Israel over Hamas. I wish that the Palestinian people had better leadership. Hamas took over the government and has not allowed another election.

I'd have a lot more sympathy for the Israelis if they quit building settlements. I'd have a lot more sympathy for the Palestinians if they quit blowing stuff up and killing people.

There's literally no solution to this problem. They both want the exact same piece of dirt. Not an equivalent piece, not fair compensation, the exact same piece of dirt. Even if the moderates in both groups were to come to some sort of sharing, like taking turns every other week or whatever, there's enough hard liners on both sides that it will get derailed pretty quickly. Both sides have a historical claim to the place, but so do a dozen other groups.

Likewise with Ukraine/Russia. Yet again we have Europeans behaving badly and, yet again, somehow the US is supposed to play world policeman. It looks like a European problem to me, and Europe should take care of it.
