Y'all ever have gym brain farts?

I must be tired

Put collars on the bar, walked over to the water fountain, come back and realize I put no weight on one side of the bar, just the collar.
I'm back, bitches!

no mate, but

i've done something similar where you know you get the 'weight trees' that the weight plates get store on in the gym? so they have the bench presses, and many of those have these 'weight trees' built in. so places people can put weight plates etc when they're not using them.

so there's this dude benching and he leaves, another dude gets on this bench press. he's holding the bar right at his chest and holding it there. I didn't see him or the bar, and proceed to take a 20kg plate off his bar (it's unclipped). lol, I mistook the bar for the weight tree and just helped myself to one of the weights off his bar. bar goes flying up and thankfully didn't damage anyone.

Did exactly what you did on the bench press, except the weight was imbalanced and I forgot to add 5 or 10 lbs to the bar on one side.

Anyway by the 3rd rep, I realized it felt off and more difficult than usual for a warm up set lol

First off

Secondly, glad you liked it! It was a movie for adults masquerading as a kids movie. I think about the message often.

i found myself getting pretty emotional in parts, especially when the soul (main character) was running away saying "i don't want to die, i'm not done yet". yeah, that will be lost on kids and quite rightly.

there is a lot to do in life but (i'm speaking personally), my own mentality shoots me in the foot every single time.
