Nurses get paid too much (w/ bonus life tip)

Brb only work 3 d a week
Brb 12 hr shifts but always take every fckn break, even when they're on their phone half the shift anyway
Brb higher paid and labor protected nurses in liberal cities are lazy and complacent af compared to less paid ones in smaller cities
Brb NPCs simping 'hurr durr nurses don't get paid enough' just to virtue signal and feel better about their pathetic existence
Brb nurses have the equiv. of a bachelor's degree but make more than any engineer's starting salary, when controlling for geographic differences in wages

Now I'm not saying they don't play a valuable role, but some nurses make more than fckn doctors. Have you also heard the type of chit coming out of nurses mouths? They are vile, catty, and judgemental af toward patients, and think they have seniority over doctors who are making all the calls and taking all the accountability.

Nurses have really gaslighted society into being over-celebrated, being seen as underappreciated and underpaid, and have warped NPC minds into vilifying doctors. That's what happens in female-dominated professions.

If you LDAR miscers need to get into a field, you should seriously think about nursing. Bullet-proof job stability, high pay, and men are actually considered minorities so you'd probably have a better chance finding a job because you won't get knocked up, complain as much, and work harder and can demand a higher salary as well.

that's funny, there are so many nursing strikes happening recently.

nursing is a hard, thankless job, most of the time. you're dealing with people often at their worst, every single day.

back when i was a paramedic, i did consider becoming a nurse practitioner or flight nurse though.

How? It's just working with patients and you can joke around with them too/get to know them

Someone pooped themselves? Call a tech. They've even 'delegated' the worst parts of their job to others.

My theory is basically they are desensitized to human bodies, they see naked old men every day, they see puke, blood, semen, ****, piss ect and have touched hundreds of men in ways a Muslim would never allow their wife to do. So fuking is no big deal to them, whats another cock, this time from Chad and not an elderly shriveled one.

Some nurse sloot paystub mogged OP.
OP BIG MAD.

Most nurses work way more than 36hrs a week. Their pay isn't that great considering what they have to do and the responsiblity.

Also, I don't get why people side with the fat cats in this belief that only a few people should have a good comfortable life and a vast majority of us should have to work ourselves to deat for 40+ years just to live a basic life. Bankers, finance managers, politicians, lawyers, they deserve it, but an actual working person.... rage ensues.

As a previous registered nurse, none of that is the norm. At least at all the places that I have had clinical and also worked at. I've worked with extremely hard working and dedicated nurses, who often don't get to have every single break. The pay is good and definitely proportional to the amount of effort and stress nursing is.

From your perspective, it is proportional. But in no way are nurses underpaid and underappreciated.

The vast majority of docs don't touch 7 figures. Physicians also have a lot of loans and training that they have to do ($300k+ debt).

OP sounds mad.

Probably makes less slaving away at his wagie job than a thot nurse squeezing her big fat crap collector in baby blue scrubs and filming videos of herself dancing around in a janitor's closet that smells like mildew and old vomit for her tiktok account that, ironically, has dudes just like OP who follow and simp for her, ultimately creating another stream of income for herself that outdoes her nursing one.

So, double irate, I guess.

Worked enough in the hospital to know nothing is actually sacred and Nurse Ratched would be preferable over the trash that works in the field now.

Top tier nurses can still be found in the ICU thankfully.

Are you the one responsible for not rinsing out the haggard mop I described in my above post?

Don't they train custodians anymore?!

I've often thought that being a nurse would be an unpleasant job. It depends upon the position, job, but the lower rung nurses seems to be a job that would be tough, with long hours, dealing with the politics of the hospital, difficult patients, etc. My grandmother was a nurse for awhile and I remember her complaining of working with large numbers of females, and problems with that. I always thought that kind of a funny mention of her to make.

I know a few nurses. They're all really competent. It's never a job I would even consider doing. Just the shift work itself is enough to drive you to an early grave. 12 hour day shifts for a few weeks, 12 hour night shifts for a few weeks, fuk that. Fuk it right in its ass. I'd rather by a perpetual tradie and work regular hours out in the sunshine 7am-3pm. Dead fkn srs.

Some of these nurse acquaintances also have families and it has to be really hard on everyone.

Are you willing to study your ass of in school and get all those required licenses, deal with a bunch of random rude patients every single day, take care of them, clean their sh*t, for a low pay??

Oh yeah, and every small accidental mistake will result in a lawsuit and your license being revoked, pretty much ruining your life.

Didn't think so. No one is going to put up with all that bs for pennies.

Depends what kind of nursing qualifications you hope to achieve but the basic one really doesn't require that much schooling. Couple years post secondary here. RN is a different story.

And to answer your question, absolutely not. Nope.

to be an rn you take like 8-10 pre reqs and 2 years nursing classes/training. you can do it all at a local community college. my cousin makes about $35-40/hr working 3 nights a week. that's good money in the south

no way. they get paid so much cause insurance and pharma have their hands in the pot too

BUT i dont really agree with op

they also get a bachelors in biology 99% of the time. then go to nursing school for 2. so real nurses are only 2 years short of a doc. and that is prob 2 years of pharma in medical school
