Here is what $250k gets you in Sydney now

https://www.realestate.com.au/news/t...nPlacement=spa

“A minuscule property barely the size of a parking space has become the cheapest home for sale across inner Sydney with a price tag that defies the inflated sums usually seen for city-fringe apartments.

With a price tag of $225,000 to $247,000 the snug 17sq m studio apartment sits in the heart of Rushcutters Bay just minutes from bustling Kings Cross.

As well as high ceilings, built-in storage, a kitchenette and an outlook over a heritage church, the compact unit comes with a couple of catches – it has no bathroom and may not be eligible for a mortgage.“

As an added bonus it has “company title” - which most likely means it’s not legally allowed to be subdivided, so to get around that they have incorporated a company and issued shares associated with the individual “apartments”.

Jesus just roll out the pods and ze bugs already and be done with it

Should be said though that the price tag is 95% due to the location of the property. Rushcutters Bay is prime real estate, it's right near King's Cross. You've got the entire city at your doorstep, mind you, a city that is literally now the 2nd most expensive in the world to live in.

Fuk man, in this city, and that location, 250k for a filing cabinet is a steal.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

"A cuck and his money will soon part".
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Minutes from Kings Cross.

You'd probably make decent $ Air BnB'ing that out on weekends if interest rates started with a 2 or low 3s again

What it's really getting to is the dream of the elites where "you'll eat bugs and own nothing and be happy" where you live in pods. Eventually use health and environmental causes to micromanage your life, tell you when you can and cannot move about. Does this mean easier living, cheaper living.... no, you'll pay more for everything and you'll work until you are dead.

this is a bang pad for businessmen. go to kings cross, get plastered with other execs, bring a ho to the bangpad. You probably have to piss out of the window and chit in the designated street, but its all good man.

imagine having to taking your last piss before sleeping, and having to travel down to the brothel to do so. No thanks jeff.
