Mario always gets inflated scores, just like Zelda games though.

But yeah wouldn't be surprised if SM2 would get a higher meta

Dude's been having mini-meltdowns since starfield .... Forza being a disaster was the final straw on his (broke)back.





Also spiderman 2 will be be around 86-88% ... Previous game got an 87. The sequel better be something really special to score above that and I've yet to see anything that gets me legit hyped, plus it being a sequel and more of the same, but just refined - I see it scoring the same or perhaps even less.

I like to think Insomniac has some big wow factor they have been hiding but I tend to doubt it. Guessing scores of things that improved versions of hit are always hard.

Yeah, unless it is majorly special or seen some massive improvements like usually what ND/SSM seem to do.


Spiderman 2 will be a great time no doubt, but everything seems more like a refinement than a huge step forward ... which is fine I guess. Dont think any studio this gen has released a "groundbreaking" sequel yet this gen ... apart from Nintendo and botw2

this finally being a PS5 only game, and not being released on the PS4, SHOULD hopefully push the envelope in terms of not making a game for a 2013 console.

If not than it will be a huge missed opportunity..

I know it will still be a good game non the less and looks great already and I will buy it regardless
