I think many of the quests in SM2 will be more meaty and special. Of course there will be radiant quests but you can already see the direction shifting to more substantive side quests in Miles Morales. Also, with previous games they already have the majority of the world and alot of assets already set... As well as many moves including swinging and so on. They don't have to create this completely from scratch so I expect alot of time to be focused on story and gameplay enhancements.

At a 91 with 50 reviews so far. But 8’s from ign and gamestop. Which people were just saying rate everything really high so 7’s from them for Starfield are proof it’s atrocious

Yeah and as to your point with Miles, he's definitely missing an edge to him. In the first game they made him this super innocent kind hearted kid who is always respectful of his family, community and of Peter. In Miles Morales they doubled down and made him this super high IQ genius kid who was making crazy advanced tech at a young age. Oh, and not only is he amazing at school but also music.
I can't relate to him too well, I definitely prefer more flawed characters.

Just read the IGN review and they said it's 18 hours for main quests and 27 for total completion. That seems awfully short for a game that has this kind of scope, was expecting at least 30 plus hours and maybe 40-50 with side quests. That definitely changes my mind, I'll wait for a discount to purchase.
