I'd say the funny thing about the console wars is that it doesn't make much sense nowadays when the bulk of games are multi-platform.

Think back to the 16-bit era. It made sense then. SNES and Genesis/Megadrive had wildly different game catalogues.

It's a relic from the past.

the fuk you neg me for bro?also lots of games were multi platform for sega and super nintendo.the main edge for nintendo was mario and squaresoft jrpgs.there was slight differences but lots of games for both.even turbo grafix 16 had a lot of the same games.

Bingo. Last gen is when I made the shift over to Playstation from Xbox. All the games I really wanted that weren't 3rd party were either Sony or Nintendo.

Bloodborne, Spiderman, Persona (At the time), God of War, FF7R, Ghost of Tsushima. Straight up bangers man.
