Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Anyone else been playing this one? I've been having a blast. The reviews say its mediocre but I've had more fun playing this than GOW Ragnarok. The combat feels a lot like Bloodborne and the exploration is amazing. I feel like reviewers are all trying to compare it against Elden Ring which really isn't fair at all. I'm only about 10 hours in but its my favorite non Fromsoft soulslike by far. The fact that it has similar scores to Mortal Shell or Thymesia is insulting. Those games are alright but not even close to as good as this one

I’m leaning more on the mediocre side. When I finish a play session, I find that I’m not really having fun. Not quite sure what it is. I’ve read others describe the game as tedious. Maybe that’s it. It looks great but I don’t enjoy playing it. When it comes to soulslikes, I’d take Nioh/Nioh 2 over it any day. Lies of P has some issues but it’s a better soulslike as well imo.

I am having a blast as well. Really loving the game so far , it definitely feels like Bloodborne to me. I am playing on ps5 and have not enountered any performance issues that reviews seem to mention. The game is beautiful and the combat is very fun. The exploration is there and lots of different build possibilities.

When i initially bought the game i was going to quickly beat it and trade it in for mw3 but i actually think i might keep this one. I want to try a magic playthrough once i am done with the agility one.

I quit about a third of the way through Nioh 2. The combat never really clicked with me. Are you playing on PC or console? I've heard the performance is terrible on PC but it runs good for me on PS5

I'm using radiance magic on my playthrough and its really fun

Game is amazing. Finished Lies of P which was good but too linear. LOTF is just on another level, definitely as good as Bloodborne/DS3

I wanna play it but will wait for them to iron out any bugs and stuff, and get the definitive edition if they release DLC, cant commit to it right now. 7-8/10 seems to be about right but seems like they might be rating it too harsh for being a soulslike
