Avoid companies financing large amounts of debt. Costs to service debt are skyrocketing. If whatever you like has long term debt see when it comes due. If it is in the next 2 years figure they’ll be paying 8-12% for their next loan depending on how likely they are to be able to pay said debt.

Part of me wants to liquidate most of my port and put it all into aristocrat divvy stonks

That way I can go fishing in the moron or whatever I please and not have to babysit the port as much'

Just closed out AYX, their management team is terrible and lots of debt.

Yeah their acquisition of time warner cucked them from over $30 to $14 (that was also when they cut their diccy and I dodged a big time bullet)

Now thinking it may habe bottomed and since the stock is cut in half the yeild % is the same again lmao

I guess I don't see retail come roaring back anytime soon with consumers finally tightening. I could be wrong, but I also see retail being forced to reduce their inflationary prices too. Doesn't look good for retail but jmo. I'm already seeing a lot of sales regularly at Costco and I think they're the best at the business game with trends.

I misread I thought he said red hot tomorrow. Inflation gauge was quite hot. They gotta trigger a decent recession to fix. Anything else will just keep inflation stair stepping higher. There needs to be bankruptcies, layoffs, and a slight economic crash landing.

Current events are a great example of the geopolitical risks around oil and how not an insignificant proportion of countries with big production are engaged in things of varying nefariousness.

When it comes down to it and unless these places/governments change, countries like Iran, Russia, and even Saudi Arabia IMO will not be the ones supplying what the world needs. Countries like Canada and the US, who hold ourselves to very high environmental/societal standards and have built an industry that treats and pays people well, we will be the world's suppliers.


Also Tesla earnings today, that'll be a big one

Bonds are 5%+ across almost the entire board. I held my weekly buys for tomorrow presuming the auction today wasn’t gonna have buyers for longer dated bonds <5%. We could see closer to 5.5 near term top out for bond yields, but I don’t think it’ll manage to touch 6%.

Well here we are again.

I am close to cutting my year end swing long cause market did quick u turn due to ww3 fear mongering.




Tesla stans will tell you to buy the dip

while they average down shares and than tell you they will write weekly calls to make up the difference while underlying goes down to $150.

Enjoy that shiit company with 70 p/e with single digit quarter profit margins.

Also good luck selling pontiac aztec truck with msrp over $100K that nobody will be able to finance.

Welcome to the bond side. TLT paying 5.25%. It’s gotta be close to peak rates. Every 1% change on yield moves the underlying something like 15%. I think it’s pretty reasonable to assume we will end up down closer to 4-4.5% over the next 2 years.

I’ve averaged down to $88 with purchases and I sold $90 calls for close to $2 so I’ll be set as long as we don’t get too much movement. I’ve got 1 $80 CSP for around $100 I’ll gladly exercise.

Basically down to this atm...Market confused and irrational.

2. Home prices rising like there's no recession

3. Bonds falling like the Fed is raising rates

4. Gold rising like the Fed is cutting rates

5. Oil prices rising like a major war is coming

6. Tech stocks just won't die like there's no problem at all
