When I was a kid we had candles that I was not allowed to use
I was about 10
So my parents go away for the night and I am alone (early 1990s when you were allowed to be alone as a kid)
I light the candles and was messing around
I freak out because it is obvious they are used now and I would get caught
For some reason I think I should melt them down and flush them down the toilet
(why not just throw them out? No clue)
These are the bare long candles
I put them on the stove in pan and melt them down and flush them down the toilet
Say nothing. Next day someone takes a dump and the toilet is clogged
They can't get it working and **** everywhere
Call plumber. Plumber tries everything and eventually pulls the toilet
Clogged with **** and wax

I think it was $200 at the time for the plumber

Yea it's an interesting war. The landlord wants to make more money so they increase rent with the market. When the markets are crazy, like right now, and wages don't keep up with it....you get a lot of angry people.

I don't want to be a renter anymore, but I wouldn't want to be a landlord right now either. Especially coming up. They better hope they have a good tenant lol.

Rent by me now is INSANE. The average rent in the town I am in....mind you it's a suburb 45 min away from chicago, is now an average of almost $2,300. The cheapest surrounding areas are all an average of about 1,700 for a one bedroom.

It's over for rentcels like me.
