falling asleep behind the wheel. considering public transit

its brutal when you're literally trying so hard to keep awake while driving in the morning.

I had this happen once…I got like no sleep and it was middle of the day, hot af. I only needed like a couple miles to get to my house. Literally one lane road with no pull offs.

I kept dozing in and out…only thing that saved my ass was the car behind me was recognizing I was dozing in and out and would blow the horn to wake me up…if it wasnt for him I wouldve wrecked or hit oncoming traffic

Only thing that blows about working overnights. I can do 12, 14, 16 hours of work no problemo, but driving home after is fukking rough sometimes.

Just had a trauma patient yesterday that fell asleep behind the wheel with 2 kids in the car. Both kids are in ICU and the woman is basically on deaths door and almost certainly going to die. I had to give her a massive transfusion and they just closed her back up with wound vacuums because her liver was so mangled they couldn’t stop the bleeding so stay safe mane (srs)

another reason to stop driving for me, but public transport has crazy peope on it. its like you lose no matter what in thsi world

That’s insane. Why not just pull over and take a nap or just load up on energy drinks

Especially with passengers
