Long video but basically he's saying men who have absolutely zero prospects for women or children have little to no incentive to do the things that the economy requires to function. At mass scale, this aint gonna work as more and more men check out and realize they're dying alone no matter what they do.

all of that makes sense, but I think fellas are more likely to prioritize wife over kids

doesn't change the message here at all I'm jus sayin that the allure of being a dad ain't it for an increasing number of men... but the desire for a trad wife aint ever going away

The reason large groups of Americans aren't working is because the jobs begin created are largely chit and part-time or low-end service jobs. Has little to do with being an incel outside of exceptions--if your choice is to live in poverty with no job or live in poverty with a chit job, most people with little education will choose the former.

If these men 'opt out', what is supposed to happen?

All that I see happening is more and more folks growing old and dying alone - look at Japan, where economically empowered women who wanted to stay single pay for male escorts/companionship and die alone too.

This 'FA' thing isn't just men - it's (some) women too, and the arguments fly past each other like a stealth bomber. I know women in their 30s here in NYC who are reasonably attractive, net multiple six figures a year, nominally say "they aren't that picky, since dating apps are just hookup culture" but that they've "given up".

Even if that's true, pumping gas as your primary job isn't going to make the difference in terms of getting you laid. Those are the types of jobs available for men with little to no college in the current job market. I'm pretty sure if there were decent jobs that these dudes qualified for at say 50k a year, they'd take those options, irrespective of getting laid.

I'm Gen Z. My generation isn't being hired for work. Even with a college degree. All jobs want experience but nobody wants to give us experience.

I have to take a chitty 50K a year job, but I wanted a 6 figure job. A man my age in 1970 with a college degree would be able to afford a house right out of college.

Ignore what women say, they can get a man whenever they want, they just cant get chad or tyrone like they want.

A few differences with Japan.

With Japan, there is less anger and resentment about this, because the Japanese men feel more like they are truly opting out. The culture there is such that you really have to a good job to get women. They opt out, rather than just get rejected 5 million times by fat chicks that want Chads.

In the USA, it isnt about money. Broke, criminal chads/tyrones get women all the time. Men who do have economic status are often still rejected because short or ugly or whatever. Much more volatile situation.

Japan also doesnt have the welfare state the USA does that relies on workers etc.

Whats going to happen in USA is the economy is going to fall and crime/violence/degeneracy is going to skyrocket.

Not anymore, but it used to for all the obvious reasons.
Before social media/dating apps/feminism inflated women's ego and gave them a million options, women arent nearly as picky. Just being a decent guy with a job qualified you for at least some woman, instead of now where you got guys making 6 figures being virgins into their 30s cause they're short and other nonsense.
