You don’t cut out the proper foods and nutrition. You eat healthy year round and not bloat up and then have to starve yourself.

It took me years of trial and error and research to figure out what actually works for my body. Plus when I was young I wanted to be a mass monster but now I do not.

My problem is I let my physique go, now I feel like I have to resort to drastic measures to get back in shape

Probably sticking with a balanced diet over the long-run is a better idea then a crash diet

Lately been doing 15-20 mins on the Stairmaster before my lifts. It's my new favorite form of cardio.

- It gets my heart rate up without beating up my joints.
- Its not MEGA exhausting so it doesn't ruin my lifting right after.
- Its brain dead. Meaning I can close my eyes and just power thru as opposed to having to look @ where I'm running or sprinting or what not.

This. So long as you are in a good calorie deficit you are going to shred. The weight

When you restrict calories a lot it's not easy to go hard at cardio or jogging but it cam be done.

Done it more times than I can count you get the same results weight wise just not as quickly. But you also get the cardiovascular benefits.

What is your regiment for cardio OP?

Yeah you are setting yourself up for failure with a crash diet approach.

Change of lifestyle is what must be done .

Your goal is to look good but also he healthy in the inside. Any fool can drop weight just by eating Skittles. But your body is being abused by it.

Treat your body like the temple it is. Respect it and it will respect you. Treat it like chit and it will return the favor..

Right now I'm doing 5k runs, jiu jitsu, and kickboxing classes. Some strength training

Just started doing these again and can barely get through that chit rn cause I've been cutting calories. Also they're tiring

If you are training to fight you definitely don't wany to crash diet and train without proper energy . That's a very good way to develop bad habits.

Geez.

Currently cutting. 15-20mile MTB ride 3x week, gym sesh 3x week.

It's easy... you don't be a pu$$y.

Currently on keto diet. I just eat protein and fat. About 200gr protein, 3000 calories a day.

1 refeed a week. I try not to go overboard though.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.

But you still get the calories at night for the next day, I'm not sure I'm even eating 1500 calories/day last 3-4 days. Yesterday I fasted 20 hours then ate maybe 1200 calories for dinner then worked out this morning. Felt like ass by the end

You answered your first question. I cut on 3kcals/day because of my fitness and expenditure. Eat more, do more.

As for how I can afford it, I know how to shop and cook. Chicken breast=$2/lb, 93% ground beef = $3.50/lb, pork shoulder or chops = $2/lb, eggs 18ct/$1.50, proton shakes.

For calories I eat keto pepperoni pizza and cheeses.

I would rather starve before doing cardio. I hate it. Conventional gym cardio anyways. I take my dog for a daily walk

If you need to cut that hard and do cardio you dont have enough solid lean mass.

Bulk with a small surplus for 1 - 3 years and a 16 week cut will be a breeze after

Try walking 10k steps a day. It burns 400-500 calories equivalent to running a 5k and requires much less effort.
