Are there any sports rivalries that you are passionate about?

The only sports team I feel this way about is UK Kentucky basketball.

So much so where I had to stop watching it cause my blood pressure would shoot up so high . My ex use to ask if her and the kids could leave the house when a game csme on it actually would get me so upset it was unhealthy. Stopped watching for a long time.

But the rivalry is UK and UL. Same state rivalry

UL doesn't compete with UK on any level so it's not much of a rivalry really HA

Sorry to bust your bubble but that doesnt make you a tough guy makes you an idiot. Unless you had just cause anyways. Which there very seldom is.

NFC East things

For some reason, never really hostile with Redskins fans tho.

Eagles were by far the worst, there'd be a fight at %50 of the games during or after in the parking lots.

I used to be a season ticket holder for the new York redbull soccer team for a few years

When NYC got another team we had a juicy rivalry going. It was a nice little MLS derby.

I can tell you right now without looking it up that for one that's for the region and for two those ratings don't beat unc/duke basketball or Kentucky/Louisville basketball. Both games nationality televised

Perhaps the one you speak of is nationality televised as well but just the fact not even familiar with that rivalry tells me it's not up there in the top 5 for all sports across the board

It doesn't really matter but I'll settle for a google search listing top rivalries

I'm not big into college football . Just basketball so that could play a part in my thoughts about it.

The media has pretty much ruined sports for me.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

are you serious? The only college football rivalry that has any claim to being bigger is Army Navy. And most people now will tell you that OSU and Michigan is far bigger.

The game got 17M viewers last year - it is consistently the highest rated non-playoff non-bowl game of the year. Plus there is another 100,000+ at the stadium
